Meet Kylie Bishop
CEO, Entrepreneur, Coach and Mentor
2012 SA Telstra Business Woman of the Year
Kylie has accounting qualifications and over 20 years’ experience within professional services environments. She has worked in small, medium and multi-national corporations within the engineering, environmental services and legal industries.
Kylie now describes herself as an expert generalist and offers skills in finance and people management, business and risk analysis, strategic planning and governance. She is a pragmatic solution provider and is committed to a leadership and communication style that enhances the outcomes for businesses and its people
Despite hardships, such as a thyroid cancer diagnosis in 2007, and a hectic personal life with five children, Kylie co-founded 2 companies in the span of 5 years. In 2007, she started an environmental consulting company called LBW Environment with her husband Jarrod Bishop, and then in 2011 she started Water Plan Consulting, which specialises in project management and concept development for water supply infrastructure.
Both companies have been majorly successfully, with LBW Environment being listed as one of SA’s fastest growing businesses in 2009, 2010 & 2011, and with Water Plan Consulting now offering support to major water regulators both interstate and internationally in New Zealand.
After offering professional coaching and business advisement under the LBW banner for some time, Kylie’s passion to be involved in the ongoing support and development of young people, professional women and small business owners, drove her to found her third company, Incredible U, in July 2013.
Along with her long range of professional titles, some of which include: CEO of LBW Environment, Managing Direction of Incredible U, General Management Consultant for Water Plan Consulting and a Facilitator at the Behind Closed Doors Entrepreneurs Program, Kylie also has an extensive list of personal accomplishments.
She is happily married to Jarrod Bishop, and the mother to five children; Matthew, Jarrad, Nathan, Madison and Chloe, all of which keep her heavily entertained. She is an avid reader, enjoys watching sport on the weekends and is dedicated and passionate about creating positive change in her communities, which she demonstrated by holding the position of Chairperson at Glenunga International Highschool before her sons graduated a few years ago.
